The Billy Joel catalogue has vast appeal spanning over four decades.  With classical influences in his early life, Joel canonized life of the baby-boomer in North America.  New arrangements (Jim Duff, arranger) redefine the works as Barry Canning and his band, lead by guest conductor, Greg Hawco, join Ontario Philharmonic Players for this Pops season opener concert.

Take a well-deserved breather on December 16th!   Join Ontario Philharmonic as we evoke the ‘spirit within’ through the world renowned works of Tchaikovsky and Dvořák.  The masterful playing of guest Concertmaster and Soloist, Iván Pérez adds to the panache of the evening.  We are delighted to welcome Durham Youth Orchestra Players to the OP stage for this rousing Christmas program.
